Trilobite in limestone, along with some bits of crinoid stems.

I love the way you go into detail regarding the environment the trilobite lived in through the information you gather from one rock!!
Youโ€™d be the BEST geology teacher ever ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Gotta be a trilobite. And if it's a fossil, that means it's sedimentary, probably marine limestone.

I miss the desert in its various hues of emptiness. And the smell of greasewood after the rain has beat the dust down.

There is a circular section of a crinoid stem on one of the short sides. But why is there so much red and yellow (iron oxides?)?

ะะฒั‚ะพั€

It is a trilobite section, my clue was another in cross section on the side of the rock.

Looks like a trilobite fossil! And I think the area you're in used to be shall salt water, so, that's my guess and I'm sticking to it

0:38 and Im guessing limestone and a trilobite.

Itโ€™s a trilobite fossil in a muddy limestone.

I guess that it is a kind of clastic sedimentary rock with maybe having carbonate content cuz its silt-sized grains are visible to the naked eyes. Try to pour some HCI acid to identify whether it contains carbonate minerals.

I think itโ€™s limestone or chert. Cambium period. Fossil is some kind of mulusk.

From what I can see it looks like Micah. limestone fossil
