I’ve had surgery twice at Bumrungrad and was very happy with the care (they saved my life - long story…lol). It’s JC accredited and also has US trained docs. Internationally known for medical tourism. Caveat: probably more costly than other equally good hospitals in Bangkok? Highly recommend, they have most specialties as well.

Sadly, its US $ I'm spending but happy for you. Just hearing about the medical diagnosis that you overcame and so relieved to hear you are doing well. Kevin, what is the best flight to take to Thailand (which one do you normally take) ? I’m needing to replace some OLD dental work ! Plus I’d love to visit and see if I’d want to get a long term visa as well.

Interesting discussion. My wife and I had some minor dental work done in Playa Del Carmen. My was fine ( root canal + crown ). She had a crown fall out twice since we were there. So mixed results. That being said, we feel the work was well done, we just had some bad luck I think. Strangely, looking forward to your dental video. We have been thinking about long term Thailand trip. We may self ensure for medical as we don't really trust travel medical insurance anyway.
