Was lucky enough to be in the audience at Numan's Wembley shows. Those Poly's made the whole arena shake. You could feel it deep in your chest. Amazing stuff.

You are not redundant at all, appreciate your comments!

Your welcome, happy to show off these classic synths.

Haha, I picked that ARP Solina up a few months ago, still works great but is in need of a restoration, it is a very early one.

Take care,
Jareth

Yes, that is correct, preset 1 has its own modulation source for the strings preset which is very cool.

Oh yes, the polymoog can be very powerful, I have to laugh when I read on forums how weak this beast is.

Thank you very much, very happy you enjoy my video!

Take care,
Jareth

The most important tool in synthesizer restoration is the calculator watch.

That does happen sometimes as well, I have had components go out of tolerance before during burn in and smoke but this is very rare, most of the time the part will stop functioning and that is about all you get.

10:15 and 13:15 sum up the Polymoog for me... really making this beast sing. =:^)
Really interesting to hear about how much needs to be replaced to restore such a machine to pristine function; great to see that there are people who have the skill and will to take on such challenges. Respect!

Sorry to be redundant, but what a beast! Thanks for showing us so well what these things can really do.
Hey! When did you get the ARP/Solina String Ensemble?

I thought burn in is when you let the smoke out.

Hi Jareth!
Is preset 1 strings supposed to have a vibrato that turns off when you release the keys? My Polymoog 203A behaves that way, but only if you use the preset, not if you switch to variation. Recognize this?
