This is what I call innovation in connectivity. All major manufacturers should borrow a leaf from this in my opinion, in addition to that, the hardware should be decent, especially for premium brands such as high res and refresh rate displays, dc and pwm dimming just like smartphones. No need to have flagship specs but decent ones. In my book, that's a 10/10 🔥💯

I think it's a terrible trend that car manufacturers integrate those in the dashboard... It'll be like TVs... at some point they won't get software updates anymore and you can forget about any of it... I much prefer regular Android Auto - as it runs on the phone and keeps being updated... And if they would work hard enough with the manufacturers you could also implement stuff like having a map on your speedometer screen etc...

Connecting your or your passengers' phones to automotive wireless systems gives the automotive manufacturer license to SELL any info the auto's system can glom from those phones.
Using cars' wireless systems as a handy "data crutch" is selling privacy for convenience.

This looks slow AF for 2024. I don't get why car manufacturers cheap out on their media system cpus/hardware.Its like nothing compared to how expensive the car is and it is something you interact with all the time, They should only use high end flagship components as this is not a phone that you are going to replace in 2 years and you'll probably never notice it slow down due to apps getting more needy over time.But in a car you will because you are keeping it for many years, the media unit after all the years of app updates will be sluggish AF.
