Doesn't matter how you sing it, if you don't bring real passion you can't hold that job. And you can only sing a blues that moves you. To the black bluesman, the guitar was first a platform created to support the melody of the tune. To sing the blues, you must hit the melody notes of each particular blues, and all the classic blues numbers have unique melodies that you must nail with meaning and passion. No passion, no Blues. I rest my case.
