WP41.2 ( VC ) Bodenplatte . Gustav v. Mustang . Belgium New Year Day January 1945
Virtual Cockpit ( VC ) gameplay....
Last major WW2 Luftwaffe offensive in WW2... Operation Bodenplatte to cripple Allied airpower in Low Countries ( Belgium, Holland, northern France ). Bf-109G Gustav against 16 P-51D Mustang. Immediate dive down to tree top level prevent Mustang zoom dive climb advantage with all fighters now pulled down to the deck.
Also... American flak units on hilltop area.... hence must fly along ravines and valleys or else nearby flak hits will cripple wing controls.
Constant corkscrew, reverse turn, mid-air 360-rotations to get gunfire on target... no time to stablize Gustav for accurate hit since Mustangs are also on one's rear 6 o'clock preparing to fire.
After every target gun burst completion, immediate hard or reverse turn to throw off pursuing Mustangs.
