Painting with Inktense Pencils along with water brushes can be tricky, so in this video I will show you how to paint this gorgeous Gerbera Daisy with easy to follow steps, so that you can create a painting with depth and form - suitable for all levels. You can also join in with this tutorial using watercolours. I have used Derwent water brushes for this tutorial - these are the best quality water brushes I have ever used - the fine point on the small brush gave me full control without water leaking and flooding the paper - I highly recommend them.

All the materials I have used for this tutorial are listed below:

Thank you, Helen 🙏
So helpful. Tried my inktense pencils only few times.

But I'm encouraged now to pick them up again

I do love those Derwent brushes and just got some inktense pencils. Looking forward to trying them with the brushes. Superior tutorial as always. Blessings to you!

Wow! I’ve not used my pencils yet. I like the idea of using them like a palette instead of colouring the flower in. Appears to be easier to get a smooth look.

The way you demonstrate the Inktense pencils makes the most sense to me. Most demonstrations are for people using them in coloring books. I want to use them as watercolor on watercolor paper. So thank you so much for this tutorial. I am now subscribing to your channel.👏👏👏

Love this tutorial! Thanks for publishing these tutorials. Question- do you have the reference photo and/or outline? I didn’t see it in the description. Thanks in advance!
