I picked up my XE this past Saturday and haven’t stopped riding it!!! I commute 70 miles round trip each day and after a 10 hour shift...I get home and I’m jazzed! The heated grips and cruise control are amazing in the morning...30F. The torque and assist clutch make traffic a piece of cake on the ride home. I absolutely love it!

Personally I would love this motor. Personally I hate high reving engines. Probably why I own a Diesel truck too, so this sounds right up my alley. Cant wait to test drive it.

Can’t believe you didn’t SEND IT off that parked trailer 😆

Hey sir, I’m here in the US. Aside from hitting the throttle in first gear to pop a wheelie, how do you or anyone else pop it on the 1200 XE so effortlessly? Thanks everyone

5:17 Lose the exhaust for a TEC Flank Tailpipe, you'll save 5.5 Kg on a Euro5 model... Then the Lithium battery, and you're UNDER 200 Kg mate !

Love it. Oh wish you had got the road set up they did and put it in the description.

As a general road bike is it better than the XC? I’m 6’3 and looking at them both.

It made me happy when you said it’s 207 kilos dry more than once 👌

Hey bud, for covering a medium distance to some trails, say 100k of highway to then some not too technical gravel roads, your thoughts on choice between this bike and a Tiger 800 XCA? Cheers, enjoyed the video

So you're giving it a "thumbs up" on the road? Going from a BMW to the Scrambler, was a bit concerned, was hoping to test drive at Daytona Bike Week, but Triumph didn't show up for some reason. So, pretty smooth @ 70-75 mph? I'll put a small fairing (number plate size) on the front for a little more wind resistance.

How would this go versus a speed triple on those roads? Since they are 150hp to 90hp, obviously they will be slower, but with the same torque (maybe better with the flat curve) an average rider like me might keep up? That is, assuming I pick the wrong gear, or are too lazy to change gears, (well too much into my own thing to take it out of the range that sounds good), I'd still have power coming out of the corner.

Would I be miles behind an equally average rider on a triple? They will slow down on the straights anyway.

I have a speedmaster and I certainly can't keep up with the triples, but I do alright against bonnies with the higher hp, lower torque crank, as I tend to have power at hand more often.

Will it do 90 mph ? I keep hearing reviewers saying it redlines early compared to the normal street scrambler

Needs decent weather protection to be more than a fair weather bike for me :/ Surely there’s options to solve that?

Nice review. What are you using for a helmet cam? Well done, looks like an awesome ride. Just ordered one.
