That's probably the cleanest explanation of a program I've ever experienced. Not a single time did I ask to myself "wait so, how did he do that just now?" great job and thank you kind sir.

Your videos are pure gold! Cakewalk is a phenomenal DAW and your tutorials are extremely helpful to those of us just starting out. Btw - the Bandlab - Link Digital audio interface is very good, very affordable, and very compatible with Cakewalk.

I started out with an Interface DAW combo called Vstudio 20 with Guitar tracks 4 designed by Roland and Cakewalk with BOSS effects . It was what Sonar was before it became Sonar .
I paid and upgraded with each DAW since 2010 until it was eventually bought out by Bandlab and offered for free .
I still use the same interface to this day and even still use the original Guitar Tracks 4 DAW that came with it specifically for recording through a DI box.
I'm very happy with what Cakewalk has become and I love that I was able to grow with each step .
These videos have been helping me immensely, thank you for these!!!!

Excellent speaker and presentations. An excellent teacher/professor is able to take complicated, technically professional concepts and explain to them so that a layperson can understand. Albert Einstein theorized and explained E = MC squared quite well and most people (90-95%) of the world population cannot do the math, including myself. However, we do understand the concept. Well, you are able to do just that with your knowledge, ability, and talent. -Thank you!

Thank you for your vids, they are a great help. I'm rather new to home recording. I've used notation software for ages as I am a composer, obviously lol but this is a whole new learning curve for me. I'm on the older side of life so I was not brought up with computer technology.
I appreciate the way you describe things in plain English without too much tech talk.

I've been using Cakewalk since Sonar 2 XL but I'm a horrible teacher. My father wants to get into it and I've been looking for a good tutorial video to help him on his way. I think I've found that here. Cheers for that, mate.

I'm in the process of getting some instruments to learn, and this is gonna be real handy once I get them. Won't have to stop and learn audio if I've already learned it *taps forehead*

I'm loving your Cakewalk instructions and have learned a lot. I can't seem to find where you talk about punch-in techniques for Cakewalk, could you provide a link please?

About audio interfaces, the BEHRINGER UM2 appears to be pretty good for its price. It's cheaper than the Steinbert UR12.
