In this video I escape the Roosevelt Island Cherry Blossom Festival 2019 Madness. There were easily over 1 hour waits for all public transportation options off the island: Tram, Subway, Bus, or Ferry. I show some of the lines and was able to get off the island by my own leg power.

Rosevelt Island needs another bridge at the other end of the island only for bikes and walkers. This way there is a closer way to get off the island. Thank you for doing this video under the circumstances.

One should consider making Roosevelt Island accessible to pedestrians from and to the EKQ bridge. Nice video!

As an islander of Roosevelt island, I don’t think we are lacking anything. We aren’t that secluded that they would have trouble getting resources to us. We have a bus system, a subway system, a tram system, a bridge, and even a FERRY! Believe it or not, Staten Island is more secluded!!

In the amount of time someone waited in line for the subway or tram, they could have walked all the way to Queensboro Plaza Station
