I took delivery on my 2024 SLT Premium Package x31 5.3 V8 two weeks ago. 21.4 mpg on the highway. I absolutely love it. BTW, this is my 4th Sierra in 16 years!

You’re out of touch with reality if you think this is a good value. This is a $55k truck theyre selling for $70k.

Don’t listen to them Ben, too many people are ignorant when it comes to supply and demand. If someone buys this for $68k, then that was precisely what it is worth. When you say value, you are comparing to other options at this time, not the prices of trucks ten years ago. Not sure if they understand that a diesel engine is an expensive option. I think that you are spot on with this one. I am not a GM fan, but that is a very nice truck.

Nice truck! However, the lack of decent payload and a tow rating of only 8700 lbs, would be a deal breaker for me.

Purchased basically this identical truck in silver metallic 5 days ago with 8k in rebates and 2.7% financing at 72mo O.T.D for 58K. So far I'm pretty happy with it. Especially the range and fuel economy of the 3.0 LZO Diesel.

This really is a great value truck for today’s market. Perfect combination of luxury and capability. Great review👍

Great review and really pretty location, but $70k is not a good value for that truck. Here in Texas currently with the big cuts in sales, the bare-bones optioned LTZ is closer to $55k. At the same time, a few dealers have a few bare-boned optioned SLT models going for close to $60k, which is obviously a better value. I imagine a Duramax optioned one would not be on sale for such.

$70k for a half ton pickup is insane. Personally, I think $55k is too much, but the market is what it is. Dealers seem to be feeling the heat. They can't sell what they have meaning they are paying a ton of interest on their inventory loans on top of quarterly taxes with few customers on the lots. With the 25% wage increase to the labor unions, the vehicles are only going to get more expensive. They're really caught in the middle. I bought my truck on Halloween which is three months ago today. I still look at their websites every now and again for fun. These trucks are moving off the lot at a snail's pace. Most of the trucks I was looking at then are still there now. This is the Houston market which is supposed to be one of the better truck markets. This isn't directed at Ben Hardy so much because he probably knows this, but to say $70k is a bargain, I guess he is trying to do the dealer a favor for letting him demonstrate their vehicles.

And for those who think it's a good value and can afford it. Good for you and I hope you're happy with your purchase. No hate from me. I got my LTZ for $50k, optioned a bit better than this SLT and the differences between the two trucks are very slight and up to personal preference. I really like the AT4, but the price ran me off the lot. LOL

I don't know what these auto makers are thinking...no one can afford a $1000.00 plus truck payment with rent/mortgage, food, gas, and everything else that has continued to skyrocket in price when wages have stayed the same since the 90s....gonna be a wake up call for them when inventory doesn't move...Not A Goid Value at all is this truck

It's the only trim you can get the Max tow package....heated tow mirrors and heated AND cooled seats.
