Ive had to make peace with my mom as our relationship was tumultuous to say the least. However, everyones experiences differ. For me, Im so thankful I made the step to heal our mother daughter relationship. Unfortunately, I waited almost too long to make peace with her. She's dealing with a brain condition now and I feel like Im trying to make up time. If ever you have to the chance I say yes, do make peace or at least try. You never know when they may take their last breath.

Yes! Britney is a grown woman and how she goes on living her life that she sees fit, in her best interest, then that's her right and her business. I love Britney and what's not to like about Britney, how can anyone not like Britney, you know. She's a sweetheart and as an actual trauma survivor from trauma that I've been through before, during, and after I got out of the military, the more you get hurt, betrayed, and mistreated, the harder it becomes to trust anyone hardly anymore. The thing is is that, the healing process is a life long journey. You get to a point in time, where you are in fact healed enough to where you're in a better place, to be able to move forward in your life. All survivors, we all heal differently and its not a one size fits all approach. It can take years to be yourself again. The healing process never stops or ends, to be honest. For anyone who has been through it or is going through it, I believe you, I support you, and you will be yourself again. It all takes time and doesn't happen overnight. There is no perfect way to heal from trauma. We're all only human and no one human being is perfect. Hang in there and have a safe and most blessed weekend everyone. I can't say enough when it comes to going through trauma and being a fellow trauma survivor, and that is your truth is your truth to tell and no one else's place or business to try to tell your truth in your story for you, in what fits their narratives. I stay away from people like that and don't trust people like that. No one can or will ever take away from you, who you truly are. So, it's more than understandable that Britney doesn't trust hardly anyone, after everything she's been through. I will continue to support and respect Britney, as I will continue to respect her privacy. I wish her all the best in her continued healing process and in her life and I wish her peace and happiness.

With respect to Britney, I'd be wary. After everything that happened, it's ok to love and it's up to her how much, if anything of a relationship she decides to have but I definately would be having boundaries and not trusting again. Her family may well love her and feel bad but I just want her to be careful.
