I rented an impala and was blown away by how fast it was . I looked it up it has 300 house power ! Far more then an 80s corvette or 5.0 lire mustang .

So did you or consumerreports just skip a whole segment? No subcompact favorite? It would've been interesting to know if the Accent or the Rio or the Fit or Yaris or Fiesta took the lead. Based on this video, the Yaris would win.

Consumer Reports is strict about reliability, and Honda hasn't been very reliable lately, so from my perspective it makes sense to see so many Toyotas on this list. However, Sienna beats Odyssey? Didn't see that one coming. I agree with the others, however.

I agree about the Impala, then why is Chevy discontinuing it for the next model year?

Wow. My car, 2018 Subaru Outback is there. I have been driving this car over a month and there is no complaints at all. Love the car.

What people don’t understand is unlike other channels like KBB, who just look at the car itself, Consumer Reports factors in reliability to its recommendations. That’s why you you don’t see any Hondas on the list, due to them currently being less reliable than other cars, such as Toyotas. Also, this list was released a while ago, so many new cars weren’t tested for this list.

What does Sam do with his hands down there all the time?
I hope it's just his gestures

Completely disingenuous list. These cars are all better than the 2018 Honda Accord 2.0t Touring??? C'mon.

My comments is on your beginning comment. The list isn't simply just CRs opinion. It's based upon hundreds of hours of testing in their lab as well as owner issues, etc. It's not simply an opinion.

Number one the Outback is a midsize and is just as big inside as a Camry for the seating. And number two I think they need more categories for SUVs especially in luxury and also for midsize two rows, since I would think that is what a big chunk of Americans would like to have for themselves

I love the Q5 but I get why it didn't beat the X3. It's just not as exciting. Some prefer it and it's one of Audi's best selling vehicles ever.

Can't belive the accord didn't win and how does the corola do better than the Honda civic, civic has much more power and slightly better mpg with class leading interior space.

and again, AG failed . to choose all the lame cars and not include even a civic which I believe is way too much as a car then corola
