when doing paint correction try doing out of sunlight, also when prepping paint for correction using compound, polish. Wash the car completely then use a clay bar on the car if the paint feels rough, if not, then skip that then move to correction. Hand correction vs a DA polisher complete difference, labor intensive by hand but of course a panel isn’t so bad just for testing. Considering you “washed” the panel after compounding, best to apply a polish after compounding then a coat of wax. You can also spray the car with isopropyl alcohol mixed 50/50 with distilled water to remove the old oil or smudges left after doing the compound and polish stage before applying the wax. There are videos on yt on how to do those steps as well if you’re DIY

Im buying this now, after 4 years and this video still rocking

I used this exact compound on my 87 Ford pickup, it's red as well. I dunno what it was, but this stuff was SO greasy. It would never fully come off the paint and it left this thin, slick, greasy film all over the truck. Not only that, but it took so much paint off with it as you worked it in. I ended up taking my truck to a carwash with a heated pressure washer and got it all of. Then I just used a high gloss wax and my truck looks 10 times better. I dunno if I was using the compound wrong or got an old/bad batch, but it was absolutely terrible.

I literally just bought that exact car. It's pretty much hot pink with Grey trim supposed to be red and black I think lol this is the exact video I needed. Wow. Thank you haha 🤘

Nice video, but for best result use
1 step, coumpound then
2 step polish and
3 step use wax, sealant or ceramic coat.

Wouldn’t it have been better if he wet sanded it before he buffed it?

Now get some ceramic on there so it doesn’t fade again!

Bro you compounding through your clear coat, you’re not supposed have your applicator turn red

I clicked off the video the second he started using the brush at the car wash🤦🏼♂️

when hes cleaning the car panel is nice and shiny. He put some polish on it to make it dull and then cleaned it off. This is a scam

Try using a electric orbital machine.... You'll have better results and clay bar the paint before you use any products.
