So we are skipping the possible 28 months later 😂

The opening of 28 weeks later is incredible and I believe it’s the only part of that particular film Danny Boyle had involvement in unfortunately. I hope he has more involvement in the next film as 28 weeks dips and kind of never recovers after the opening, still a pretty good film though

28 years later is something I would look forward too. I always enjoyed the story of 28 Days and Weeks wasn't that bad.

This is the sequel I always wanted to see happen

Hard to believe 28 Days Later is over 20 years old now, it still holds up very well by today's standards and still better than much of the generic zombie garbage we're bombarded with. Can't wait for 28 Years Later!

One of my all time favourite horror movies, I enjoyed 28 weeks but 28 days later is by far the best.
If they do a soft reboot and skip to 28 years later as opposed to months I'm more than happy.
The film could focus on a group of survivors trying to survive in a post apocalyptic, post virus world.
It doesn't necissarily need to have infected and could have human raiders as the main threat instead, as we know the infected have a limited lifespan, but that doesn't mean to say the virus is totally gone, it could still pose a threat.
There are honestly so many posibilities they could do with this and I'm all for it.

I remember watching the first one in high school during our theatre class and people were shocked at how brutal the scene was where the black chick killed her homie because he could have been infected after helping the main character. I didn't like the second one as much but it was decent and I wanted to see a possible continuation of what happened after.

28 Days Later.. Great movie.. Starts with the outbreak of the rage virus 🦠 and follows a coma patient who wakes up to a world 🌎 gone to hell.. great cast.. great acting and is one of if not the best zombie/ virus outbreak movies ever.. easily.

It was time for the 28 days franchise to return, special with this duo behind. But I'll like to see people from 28 weeks also working on this project, the actress that played Tammy in the sequel said she wanted to return to the franchise as well

I am interested in seeing how this turns out seeing how the virus escaped and made it out in the son then ran off into the forest. I didnt know Boyle had little in the way of weiting the second film, im also hoping he has more input on the direction of this next film as the first was an epic blast. I love it and the guitar solo is hauntingly eeire. It plays so well with the settings when it comes on.

28 Days Later I felt became a instant English horror classic, for the modern day audiences, at the time. Until then most zombie films were set in the US, or internationally. The London Eye, the London setting executed well, was something I always wanted for a zombie film.

28 days later still 1 of the best zombie movies ever.. Didn't enjoy the sequel as much but the opening scene in it however was epic!

28days is one of my all time favourite films. It was so raw, very realistic, no Hollywood shit.

Im not sure about 28years later though. Everyone will be dead and it think it will just be another open world zombie film. In my opinion 28days worked well because the UK was quarantined and the rest of the world continued.

The main problem is these aren't like regular zombies, they need to feed to stay alive.
In 28 weeks later they had all died out as they basically starved to death.
They only came back because two people had become asymptomatic carriers i.e. Robert Carlyle's wife and son, which caused a new outbreak and wave of infection.
They are going to have to pull some serious BS to explain how the infected are still alive and a threat 28 years later.

28years later could be very interesting indeed. Especially after Covid19 and the Establishment's and some people's behaviour towards each other. You could make a great film where the Rage Virus isn't the only threat to the uninfected but the Tyrannical Establishment as the food supplies are beginning to dwindle and the survivors learn of a horrific fate that awaits them.

28 years later could be totally epic...I'm thinking worldwide as was teased in the last one.

Idk why they jumped all the way to years, months makes much more sense to me.
Excited either way though, I love this series.

As someone who fan of 28 Days later and grew up watching and the sequel 28 Weeks later I’m excited to see it but the bad news it was made by Fox Searchlight Pictures and it unlikely the studio won’t be interested because Disney brought 20th Century Fox and of course Fox Searchlight Pictures

Finally! Hope to hell John Murphy still composes the music. Anyone that knows these films knows the music.

I've never clicked on a vid so quick. 28 days later is a sick film and my favourite "zombie" film. I'm looking forward to this. Also thanks for all the work Mr H
