I have both (and a few others). The 90D has the best looking raw files I have seen from any camera. The R7 over exposes by about a 1/3 stop.

Love my 90D and have no want, need, or desire to go mirrorless. Plus mirrorless cameras are too small for my liking

The R7 will likely be better than the 800d you are currently using.But a FF camera may be a better choice for the dark conditions.

Needed to watch this, been in market for new camera and was looking at 90D and R7. Seems i might have to go 90D, R7 seems to bright for daylight photos, plus, I have the crop lens tamron 18-400 that I love for wildlife that I spent so much on, it's my go to because how versatile it is. Great video

In video mode R7 seems a little bit better, but in photo mode 90D outperforms the R7. R7 is too bright
