I’m building a similar version of that but with a mid K24a2 Turbo. It’s a 1970 Honda Z600 kei car (it’s a hair smaller than a Beat). It has a roll cage too.

i know you said you don't want to engine swap it, (well i dont know what counts as a crazy engine swap) but i would love to see you swap a yamaha mt-09 engine into it since that is also a 3 cylinder motorcycle engine with almost 120 hp

Pro tip… don’t take it on a road trip where it sits at 7, 000 rpm for hundreds of miles. May not be good for the engine’s health. 😂😂
