Blue water and orange cat. Makes for an easy Teal/Orange grade process. A good subject for a video would be to get the look with a neutral or opposing color palette. I think it's important that new people understand that shooting and lighting for teal and orange is the first step in creating the look.

Try to change CST out gamma to Cineon Flim Log, then you dont have to reduce the opacity.(Just a Suggestion)

You aded Kodak lut rec 709 to cst rec709, thats why you kill the footage. Cst shoud be rec709 and cineolog.
