Lisa Ling is the Executive Producer and host of This is Life with Lisa Ling on CNN, now in its eighth season. Ling is also the Executive Producer and host of the series Take Out with Lisa Ling for HBOMax, an exploration of Asian American history through the lens of delicious Asian food which has become so ubiquitous in the U.S. A former co-host of ABC's The View, she is the co-author of Mother, Daughter, Sister, Bride: Rituals of Womanhood, and she penned Somewhere Inside: One Sister’s Captivity in North Korea and The Other’s Fight to Bring Her Home with her sister, Laura.
