After watching this video I learned that if a parabola has an equation of (x-h)^2=4p(y-k) then it opens upward, if (x-h)^2=-4p(y-k) then it opens downward, if (y-k)^2=4p(x-h) it opens to the right, if (y-k)^2=-4p(x-h) then it opens to the left. I also learned and conceptualized the locations of the parts of the parabola and so I learned how to graph the parabola properly.
