When I was playing yellow, I had no idea where to get flash from, but I figured out that if a pokemon is posioned, every few seconds I move, itll briefly flash the screen, and thats how I got padt the dark cave

This is a cool detail from a retro game. Even nowadays pokemon game doesn't have that detail. (Since all of them have been lit up by some torches)
