Hello from San Diego - and it's awesome to see these in person, especially at the old Santa Fe Depot downtown!! The Surfliner is a fun way to get to LA from San Diego, with a good amount of the route featuring amazing views as the track skims the edge of beaches and lagoons. I am a Lego model railroader, and I am working on a brick-built version of the Charger. Thanks for posting this!

I've been a long time O Gauge Model railroader, but I've been exploring and getting into N Scale. I've recently acquired three Kato N engines, including a P42 and a set of the Viewliber IIs. I think I have been missing out. I am incredibly impressed with how far N Scale has come and the superb quality of Kato. This looks to be no exception. 👏👏

Good morning Jimmy I’m drinking my Folgers dark roast with coconut oil for flavor. Absolutely yummy. You make it hard to resist purchasing more and more and more Trains. I already own the Coito zephyr Silverstreet and I also have some of the older excursion train sets both Concord and Bachman.But every time you showcase a new set, I wanna go out and buy it. I think I am gonna buy the Chicago 400 though. Seeing that I’m from Chicago and you just make it so tempting. Have a great day.

I’m enjoying a Starbucks Iced Cherry Chai. For years I’ve wanted an N scale Pacific Surfliner train. When they were announced last year, I quickly got that preorder in. They are superb models and were definitely worth the wait. I run mine with the P42DC quite often

I myself got the 8 car set as well. I’m a fan of the new SC-44 and the new Surfliner cars. But I wouldn’t worry about if it fits your layout or not, if you like it then buy it! I guess you said that though haha

Great look at the set, Jimmy. A late friend of mine used to pull shifts managing cafe cars for Amtrak routes, including the Surfliner out of LA.

Why not make a coastal module, or maybe a big station module with passing? Cheers!
