I used a 12V DC Charger like the one that's used in a router. Make sure it has very low Amperage - mine has 0.5 A which is fine. 1A is ok as well. I connected the inside of the plug to the plus side of the battery (last), and first connected the outside of the plug to the minus pole. Make sure to not short them!
I let it sit for 10 minutes, after which my dead battery showed a charge of 6.9Volts and I could swap to a normal battery charger/conditioner.
