I was so hooked on "V" that I used my cosplay talents to make a "Visitor" costume. I wore it to a convention where Richard (Supreme Commander John) Herd was to be a guest. I was a member of the "Klingon Language Institute" at the time, and they got me to sit in while they took a break. Their table was right next to Richard Herd's autograph table. I caught him looking at me several times. Finally, he came over to me and gave me one of the greatest compliments I had ever had. He said: "If I didn't know better, I'd swear that that was one of the costumes from the show!" I was floored to say the least! He gave me one of his autographed pictures and signed my program book. I shall =never= forget that moment!

Out of all science fiction movies out there, I have never seen that is better than V. I was a freshman in highschool in 1983 when V came out. I have seen it at least 80 times and I will continue to watch it.

The original mini series was top notch tv. And it was camp and fun when it retooled into a Dynasty clone.

This is the opening of the first part of V (the weekly series). The show went on hiatus mid-season - eliminated a bunch of characters - and came back with a new opening theme for its remaining episodes.

I loved the mini series. I mentioned in previous comments it was unfinished because of the way it ended. Its great to watch now still as good as back in the 80s. Loved those red visitors costumes. Back in the 80s i did dress up for cosplay of the time. Unforgettable good times.👍😯🙂🇭🇲🦘✌️ From Australia.

Kenneth Johnson the show runner for The Incredible Hulk and Bionic Woman helmed this series. I had to be around seven when this came out. Not a lot of sci fi tv shows had this kind of special effects.
