So I had torn drywall paper (from chair rail removal). Smoothed it out as best as can be. Used glue over entire torn paper surface. Also applied Roman pro 999 paper sealer. Then did quick set hot mud easy45. I still got some air pockets you see bend inward when you press your finger against them

Any suggestions how to rectify those problem areas?

Any way to do something similar if you were boxing? For instance, does boxing one way then turning around and boxing the other way give a similar result with reduced bubbles on a painted surface or do you need skim it tight by hand before boxing?
