Don't try to act like you were somehow wronged by the world cause someone else was smart enough to realize that Yuki was S-tier waifu material and acted accordingly. Dude was increasingly annoying throughout the whole show. He's lucky Itsoumi is a stand up dude and actually made the effort to befriend him cause he understood his value to Yuki as her childhood friend. The problem with this romcom is that I can't support the main characters just because of the Childhood friend... I know he is toxic... But only because He is really slow and dumb... In fact he is not toxic until the mc arrives. if Oushi (childhood friends) was properly rejected and left aside from the start I wouldnt have a problem with the protagonist couple... But because Oushi is still there I can't stop the comparisions... And Oushi is jealous, is funny, he shows how much he love yuki. Oushi wants for Yuki to be happy and that is why he sometimes gives up Fmc to the mc... While Mc is just cool and handsome. Oushi might have worse things while MC is perfect... But Oushi have more color as a person and is way more intresting...
