Is your iPad updated to iOS 14? Fonts can stilled be installed on the iPad and used in the same Apple apps as before. How third-party apps access custom fonts has changed with the new update. Not all third-party apps have released updates to fix their own issues with custom fonts (GoodNotes, as of Sep 22)-- some have (Noteshelf, for example)! :)

I opened the font directly with procreate and it automatically installed it, thats all i needed. Thanks for the tip
