I have said it before but you are a GREAT instructor. I have followed you for more than a year now and this series is just at the right time for me. I am OK with HTML and CSS and am looking to learn PHP. ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO.

Omg! I'm so glad you are back. You are (seriously I mean this) the best teacher I've had both, since I was in university and now online here on YouTube. I recently followed your tutorial on creating a login through PHP and SQL. I coded everything as you showed. Everything worked perfectly and was so easy to understand. I intend to complete your 'calculator' tutorial as I believe I will learn a lot about passing values and writing code. Please don't stop posting. You have a natural talent for teaching coding, which is not easy to teach as it is very abstract. Thank you, so much for your tutorials. I will be visiting your Patreon later to support you. This is something I've never done before. But, you are worth supporting. Thank you again.

I have been trying to add a currency field to my SQL database. I have read that it needs to be decimal (19, 2) i.e. upto 19 whole numbers and two decimal places. I tried also decimal (3, 2) So I wanted to add a row with a colum value of 100.00 euros and then another row with column value of 31.50 euros however it gave me an SQL error on the 31.50 euros because the whole number is not 3 digits long but two. I also tried 031.50 euros but that also gave me an error. For the moment I have bodged it by putting it in as varchar but in the future I may want to do automatic calculations so how can I correctly put currency into the SQL database?
