I think that the main difference between defending Ukraine's border and defending the U.S. border is that we don't have Russian tanks and fighters infiltrating our border whereas they do. Our republican party has devolved into foreign representatives of the worst regimes out there and have not even bothered to register for siding with Putin's agenda. To call them less than patriotic is like saying that a hand grenade is less than a million atomic bombs. Our government used to consist of mostly honorable players, now they're mostly bed bugs and ticks.
