As a former defender I'm shocked Ali said the Triple Espresso were carrying the team on their backs. The USWNT team defense has been OUTSTANDING and equally important as the goals due to the tight score lines. Girma, Fox, Naher, and Dunn, heck even Emily Sonnet stepped up big time in CB to put on a world-class display of solid defending so far. Brazil's chaotic energy will be their biggest test.
