The impeachment inquiry into President Trump enters a dramatic new phase this week with the first public hearings. Major Garrett takes a look at what led to the resignation of President Nixon in 1974 over the Watergate scandal. He was accused of abusing his office, the same as President Trump.

Each weekday morning, "CBS This Morning" co-hosts Gayle King, Anthony Mason and Tony Dokoupil deliver two hours of original reporting, breaking news and top-level newsmaker interviews in an engaging and informative format that challenges the norm in network morning news programs. The broadcast has earned a prestigious Peabody Award, a Polk Award, four News & Documentary Emmys, three Daytime Emmys and the 2017 Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast. The broadcast was also honored with an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award as part of CBS News division-wide coverage of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. Keep crying Trump supporters. Trump is finished. Even if he’s acquitted, there’s absolutely no way he’ll win a second term in 2020.

You can kiss another 4 years of Trump goodbye.

When Nixon, who was the first president that i voted for, was impeached, he was my commander in chief. I just hope the N.Y. Vets. refrain from letting it rain rotten eggs today. Maybe some spoiled apples? He has done alot for this Vet. So make them little apples. "Go Veterans Canteens Svc."
