Sounds great! I saw Vixen live at the Milton Keynes bowl back in the day. Vixen, Skid Row, Europe and Bon Jovi all in one day. Fantastic!

Just discovered this channel but it warms my heart and gives me hope that your generation might finally rediscover music takes talent! Great job! Vixen flew under the radar but I love their sound.

The 80's had so many talented females. Joan Jett, Pat Benetar, Lita Ford, The Bangles, Bonnie Tyler...some got swept into the pop genre because pop was similar to rock in the 80's. Cher with "turn back time" and "I Found someone ". Tina Turner "the best". Roxette "the look". Hell even Janet Jackson had a rock song with "black cat"

Nice! I saw Vixen in 1991 at a club called the Paradise. I wrestled Roxy’s drumstick away from another guy after she tossed it out in the crowd after the show. It was hilarious, she was laughing as she watched us fighting for it 😂. Great memories! Keep rockin’ Emily!

There are parts that you can tell that you don't have a lot of miles on your clock. There are other parts that sound really good. I started playing hair guitar in 1985 when I was 15. My clock has turned over many times. I wish I had video of my progress. Wait til you hit your 5 year anniversary. You will be amazed at the difference. You're gonna be a killer. You've already got the arsenal in that rack behind you. Lots of weapons to choose from. Keep knocking em out. The first couple of years are the hardest. You're learning everything. The clarity, speed, and smoothness are right around the corner. Bending to pitch will happen and you won't even realize it. 👍👍

Well, Emily...that was unexpected. I saw your talent show performance and then came to your YT Page and watched your videos of George Lynch/Dokken and Ratt and started thinking...this young lady needs to try some Vixen. What a surprise when I found this video! Good job! Considering you've only been at it for 3 years (I think that's what you said?), you're moving along with your skills. Keep up the good work! Sadly, Jan Kuehnemund, the original guitarist from Vixen passed away at 59 in 2013...she was quite the guitar player.
