this is clearly a breadside table but they missed the perfect chance

No hate or anything I just recommend you not over screw your screws like that. The piece will last a whole lot longer if you only tighten the screw to the point where it's tight and flush. If the screw isn't going any further in, then you're basically just tearing up the threads you just made and ruining the strength of the screw you just put in. I recommend using a drill with a dial that lets you set the point where it will stop tightening

the glue in the middle of the bread bin does not do anything as it is recessed and would not touch each other

The cheapest bread box is about 25 give or take, so you'd need 2 of them, 50 + legs? Maybe if you just had them laying around.

Suggestion is to use the torque setting on your power drill if you Intend to use it as a screw driver into wood 😳 or go manual
