No stone unturned. I like that. I do that with song titles, lyrics, song structure, and melodies. I sometimes break off for a few days to "reset" my mind with new ideas.

Another good takeaway here to come up with songs with riffs and licks. This gives the song it's own definable characteristic and something for the listenin to get stuck in their uead outside the vocals

Good sounds. I personally record myself looping on my Pigtronix Infinity pedal for a couple hours, Then play it back and usually find my favorite part to be something I played once and ditched because I hated it at the moment lol. It's crazy stuff
