Literally means “congrats for (your) opening”? Then when 31-dec, you would probably say “とじましておめでとうございます“ or “しめましておめでとう” thus とじおめ or しめおめ?

nah… I’m in japan when I was working on january 1st I tried to say that long words to other worker and a few of them just replying or saying “happy new year”
