Using Amazon Cognito service on AWS, I show you how to create a federated user identity to authenticate users through social identity providers. I also introduce Amazon Mobile Hub, where you can quickly get a boilerplate code sample in your language and platform of choice to get up and running with a mobile emulator.

Hi, first thanks for this overview. I have a question: User Pool -> Federation cost money based on MAU and Federated Identity (using Facebook as auth) is free no matter what MAU you have?

Tried to understand what the purpose of this feature is. Can we use that when we log in using Federated User Identity to access my own apps without forcing them to log in my own each app?
