Here's some things that i couldn't organically fit into the script or that i forgot to mention altogether (i'm still new to D&D guys, chill with the patronising comments)

-So i've realized that gnome is pronounced "nome". English is my 2nd language, and i'll keep saying GNOME because it's more fun to say.
-Another thing that needs correcting; Baldur's Gate 3 is set in the Forgotten Realms, and there is no real "default" world for D&D. In other words, Faerun & it's world is not the "world of dungeon's & dragons" but merely one campaign setting for D&D.
-Baldur's Gate 3 has coop

-Also, PC Specs:

god as a dnd nerd i literally as a 5 year old had a 2nd edtion as a teeting thing while my parents in the 2000s where gaming with friends... god shame they will never get to play this will me...soooo many good memories and so many lost ones.. i hope this game remonds me of them all and all i miss of them so much.

Not normally big on pre-ordering stuff but did it with this so I could try the Early Access a few months ago and it was soooo good even back then. Really looking forwards to this - probably my GOTY.

Thanks for this video. The fact you don't like turn-based games but liked this one cemented my decision to buy BG3, as I don't like turn-based games either. The footage in your video looked fluid and fast paced to me, so it looks like it'll be quite fun. I think I've been nostalgic for a d&d rpg, and BG3 looks incredibly in-depth. I can't wait to play the full release, but I'm actually going to buy it now, so I can decide on characters for various playthroughs. Thanks again!

Probably the best RPG fantasy i've ever played, i hope starfield and the new mass effect are as good as this game i can't fault it 10 out of 10, i have 80 hours in early access.

Great video! I think it needs to be mentioned that although buying a copy now will give the early access (this is listed in the fine print, but most people don't read it), your pre-release character will NOT transfer to the game when it releases. The 72 hour early window for pre-release purchasers, on the other hand, will work.
So if you get the game, dump tons of hours into it expecting the go live 8/3, you will be starting over.

Correction: the setting is not DnD. The setting is Forgotten Realms. There might be some content from other DnD settings, such as Spell Jammer, which often connects to multiple settings.

But it IS loosely connected to BG 1 & 2. As cannonically the story of BG3 starts either the moment your character from the first 2 games die, or 10 years later, dont remember which one now as its been a while, its also connected to the story between the 2nd and 3rd games called descent into avernus. Also there are a few returning characters from previous games.

So is everyone saying that they hate turn based games also infereing they hated Pokemon? Honest question cause that is really the only turn based game I have played and I highly enjoyed it. This game looks dope, probably will give it a go although it does look complicated AF.

I would say that if you like choice&consequence, fk around and find out, world rich with lore and complex characters, value player agency and world reactivity, this game is for you.
Don't be off-put by turn-based combat (or be, to each their own), Larian did a decent job to innovate on it and speed it up, and also, tho it'll sound cheesy, it's fun and strategic at the same time, allows player to be quite creative as well. Ofc, if cRPGs and turn-based combat and story with "books" of dialogue, and plenty of in-game text, is off putting, it's fine, to each their own. But, I would say give this game a chance, it's clear from the Early Access, imo, that Larian cooked something special here.
