HOW TO CONNECT YOUR SPOTIFY ACCOUNT TO VOLVO CAR

Join Tom as he walks us through how to connect your Spotify account to your Volvo's infotainment system. Connecting your account allows you to play your playlists and other songs directly from the cars built-in screen, without needing to do anything on your smartphone. Once you have connected your account, you can also use the built in google assistant to control your music with your voice.

is it possible to adjust the sound in Spotify settings, e.g. equalizer? Because the internal settings in Volvo, e.g. xc60 allow for minimal settings and there is no access to the equalizer

When you connect your phone Spotify account, does it down load your songs as it is on the phone or are all songs streamed as required

The way you're doing it is if you have internet connection in your car. I don't have "built-in" internet, so when I press the Spotify app, it looks for a connection and can't find one, because I don't have internet. So I gotta use Spotify on my phone.

Mine won’t connect via Bluetooth unless I have a premium Spotify account. Anyone else have that issue? I did a trial of Premium Apotify and it would automatically connect via Bluetooth every time I got into the car with my phone. When my trial period ended, it won’t connect by Bluetooth. Instead it asks me to pair my phone and then when I do, it says I need a premium Spotify account. Seriously? A premium account just to use Spotify via Bluetooth?
