The more i think about it, Andre and Jade were gonna be the endgame couple (quietly hinted) as Beck would've been with Tori and Cat with Robbie (both strongly hinted). I think this planted the seed for Jandre and was gonna be further pushed with her crush on him in the 3rd season with the 4th fully realizing them. But they decided to have Jade and Beck back together since the show got canceled during the 3rd.
