Definitely one of the most complex effects that can be created in Hitfilm Pro. Similarly to a recent tutorial of mine on how to create the Firestorm effect, it implements plenty of Hitfilm’s features, which is awesome! Great tutorial Hitfilm team!

Very fast pace tutorial but it's great to see Mike back. It's a nice effect and surely the Hitfilm development team can create an effect to cover 90% of these steps.

EXPRESS OWNERS.

If you have the Destruction add on pack you can try the Shatter effect. Do a YouTube search for "Hitfilm Shatter Tutorial" and some will appear. You won't have as much fine control over direction of particles, and you'll need to set up a grayscale map to define the timing. I should have a tutorial on this on my personal channel next week.

If you have the Audio-visual add on you can look at Atomic Particles. Type "Atomic Particles Text Dissolve" into YouTube search for the tutorial.
