Add more fast paced steps to your day and get fit walking the pounds away! This fast one mile power indoor walking workout will help you stick with your walking routine no matter what the weather is like outside. We'll also help you prevent joint strain by mixing up your moves while you walk in a small space. We'll increase your calorie burn with higher intensity interval training to burn more calories in less time - all while walking!

We're going to power things up for this mile so be ready to start walking at a brisk pace once you hit play! Try one of our stretching routines to cool down or head on to another cardio or strength session as soon as we're done.

Intensity: Moderate, Mixed Impact (low impact options shown)

Oh, and be sure to watch out for Peanut, our french bulldog pup, in this vid... She heard we were going for a walk and wanted to get in on the action!

This was my walk for this morning it was another great walk as always I love these walks I always have fun they are short but very effective I got my heart rate up and I got a walk in all in a shorter amount of time it feels good to wake up and move my body before I start my day thanks for walking with me this morning Jessica have a great Wednesday 😀

I did have fun with this quick mile, especially running to the finish line at the end! The intervals spiked my heart rate moderately. I will keep this one in mind if I need a good warm-up on a cardio day. I hope Peanut got a nice long walk afterward.

Thank you, Jessica! I really appreciate you! You're so positive. You're sensitive to all types of body conditions and ages, including a 68 year old like me. And it's nice NOT to have loud music, plus the track on this video is more melodic then on some. For fun, once I've listened to your instructions on your videos sometimes I mute the sound and play other music such as upbeat Mozart, or swing music from the 40's. =)

The interval jogging in this short fast one mile workout increases the calorie burn for those of us that like to push ourselves just that little bit harder. A lovely complement to the other two one miles walks that you've also posted recently on U Tube. Thanks again Jessica!
