This looks so pretty! Could you give us an update in like 6 months about how the tile held up? I would like to try doing something like this on my bathroom, but I'm worried about the water going through the edges and causing issues later.

Love how the tiles pulls together all the other black details in the bathroom, looks adorable! Just wish you had put some of it on the baseboard as well, to cover the rest of the terracota tiles. But amazing transformation nonetheless ♥️

Looks good. Does it bother you to have the tiles show going up the wall? Can you cover those as well? Did you caulk?

Looks great! Maybe you could paint the tile that goes up on the wall just a few inches with the baseboard color, it would mimic the other baseboard.

I just did my small bathroom floor last week. I used 12 x12 inch peel and stick tiles from Amazon. They look beautiful! I caulked all around the perimeter and it looks so nice! I wish I could add a picture here, , for you to see.

Alexandra, take a look at a “ticking stick”. You could use this to pre cut anything with a strange shape like a toilet!

Just out of curiosity, do you undo all the modifications that you made before you leave? If i were the next tenant I'd rather have all your upgrades than having the 'before' version.

I'm just not sold on these peel and stick tiles :( you can see the tile through the paper, wouldn't it feel like stepping on plastic?, it looks difficult to install perfectly, I'm not sure how durable it would be over time, and then you also have water and mold to worry about as it's for the bathroom. I love the design she chose but yeah I'm just not convinced this would be a good product.

There is a tool I saw ads for on YT all the time that makes patterns easily for around Any shape like your toilet. I bought for my husband because he us a pro cintractor. I used to work with him but can't anylonger because of health. He laughed when he saw it. I finally talkrd him into trying it and now he uses it all the time. It is the most versatile tool ever.
