Because of a law set in place because of an Alberton woman, residents of Canada have been affected since the 1920s I myself, a woman who raised my children was affected by this Alberta person for over 40 years financially. I wish the journalists pushed back on misinformation with the interviewees. The economy has been growing and the federal government has been shelling out $18-20 billion dollars each year to the oil and gas industry. For long time under the federal leaderships inference, rest Canada disliked Alberta and it's vital oil and gas industry but except the money from exporting oil and gas to US. The leaders have well planed to kill the Alberta vital industry in near future. For many decades, Alberta oil and gas has been mostly blocked by rest Canada to west and east of the country and the change will never come. USA Customers are vital for Alberta not the rest of Canada! For its surviving, Alberta would be better off to keep its wealth to itself, and close to more friendly USA customers and become 51 state of USA. Alberta should worth more than Alaska to USA.
