NDP 2020: The Singapore National Pledge

We, the citizens of Singapore,
pledge ourselves as one united people,
regardless of race, language or religion,
to build a democratic society
based on justice and equality
so as to achieve happiness, prosperity
and progress for our nation.

On August 9 from 9.30am, celebrate National Day 2020 with The Straits Times as we bring you live action from the Padang and various locations islandwide, from the Red Lions' jump into the heartland to tributes to healthcare workers, and a special NDP watch party at home with a Singaporean family.
