I never understood people who voted NDP. If it weren't for their Liberal party support, Justin would have been long gone, and we wouldn't have to deal with the carbon tax fallacy.

The carbon tax must be completely removed.

Let's not forget that with the internet, Canadians have more access to alternative views on climate change. Credible experts in this field do not all agree we're in a crisis and people are amending their views accordingly.

I'm voting conservative. Who in Canada wants more taxes? NOT me.

6:20 There you have it, Brian. If Guilbeault was PM & had a majority, he'd be locking Albertans down & suppressing our economy to the point where people would leave the province, leading to his desired outcome of rewilding the province & eliminating the chief base of the Conservative Party.

John Horgan is now Ambassador for Germany. There is some sort of deal between Trudeau and NDP.

Carbon Tax should never have been implemented in the first place . We are one of the few countries with the least emissions. I can't believe how ignorant and stupid people really are .

The Carbon Tax and Justin Trudeau both need to GO! The Crime Minister can not go far enough away. Corrupt, unethical, arrogant, ineffective, devious and anti-Canadian.

Everybody is rightfully yelling and screaming about this except Jagmeet who is going to have a pretend vote on Monday. Nobody truly believes that Jagmeet is going to do anything, how could he . . . . his mouth is full.

Let's not forget the free heat pumps for people who make less than 30k a year. How many people, even in Atlantic Canada, make 30k or less own houses?

I’m fortunate enough to live in the Atlantic provinces to receive the tax break but I still want the rest of my fellow citizens to receive it as well. It’s not right

I don’t think taxing heating is a good thing because we don’t have a choice. Let’s not forget that this was supposed to be revenue neutral and it was called carbon pricing. just more money for them to hand over to other countries.

This should include all forms of home heating needs including power. Over 4 years reading of my actual bills my power price is 4 times it was 4 years ago. 4 years ago delivered was $0.11 / kw and last month it was $0.44 / kw. That is ridicules and unaffordable! Also 4 years ago in the coldest month I paid $200 / month for power/gas to heat my home and estimated this year will be roughly $1000 / month. Currently its not even cold yet and I am at $700 / month. Why is there any tax on necessities?

Climate change will only change for the better if the whole world is on board.
I’m so confused why anyone in power like the government would do this to there own country and make life so much hard for there citizens.
We need a new way to govern our country because this taxing the hard working citizens and then giving our tax money to other country’s makes absolutely no sense. Less tax and bring jobs back to Canada instead of importing goods from other country’s.
Wish I grew up back in the 50’s-60’s when life seem to make sense.
Who wants to live like this?
