How to create custom reports in HubSpot

In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how-to create custom reports in HubSpot.

With custom reports, you have more flexibility in analyzing objects and activities in your HubSpot account. There are different types of custom reports that you can create based on your reporting needs.

Depending on your subscription, you can create the following types of custom reports:

Single object reports, Funnel reports, Custom report builder, Contact attribution reports, Deal create attribution reports, Revenue attribution reports.

Steps to follow:

Step 1. In this tutorial, we will show you how to create a single object report.

Step 2. In your HubSpot account, navigate to reports and click reports in the dropdown menu.

Step 4. In the upper right, click Create report.

Step 5. In the left panel, select Single object.

Step 6. Select the object you want to report on, then click Next.

Step 7. At the top, click your report's name to edit it.

Step 8. In the left panel, click Add Property to browse and select the properties you want to report on.

Step 9. After selecting these properties, in the left panel, drag and drop properties to reorder the columns in the table on the right.
To remove a property, click the cross next to the property.

Step 10. Click the Visualization tab to customize the chart for your report.

Step 11. In the left panel, select a chart type. The available options depend on the object type you've selected.

Step 12. In the Configure chart section, drag and drop properties into the Displaying section to add them to your chart.

Step 13. In the upper right, Display options to filter your data.

Step 14. To receive a file with your report's data, click Export in the upper right. In the dialog box, select the File type, enter the Email address to receive this file and then click Export.

Step 15. When you're done with your report, click Save to add it to your list of saved reports.
