As an introvert this video is a great reminder that my silence has had many benefits in keeping me sane. Thank you 🙏

I have learned from being in an abusive marriage, for almost 10 years, that silence is the best way to handle evil/angry, people. They want you to feed that demon of strife, by arguing with them. They literally get off, by upsetting you. They can't stand poised, calm, silence.😉

Being disrespected, betrayed, rejected is so painful. However, SILENCE, helps me to ponder on the reasons and responses on every situation correctly. Being ALONE is one of my greatest FRIEND. ❤❤❤

Silence is golden. It gives you space and space for the other party to consider their actions.

I discovered Stoicism recently and am already 100 PERCENT on board. Especially in today's toxic, divisive, "I have the answer" world, we all NEED this and it's therapeutic.

Started speaking my mind more as an adult because my whole life I was told I’m too quiet & I should speak up for myself…. Honestly being quiet kept me sane & being able to walk around from things/people/places that didn’t serve me…. It’s definitely should be a tool that’s sharpened daily.

Lost my grandmother at a young age to dementia, almost lost my mom last August in a car crash. she lost her legs and her ability to control the lower half of her body. I realized that not only can one lose a loved one to death, but one can also lose a loved one while they are still alive, in the case of my grandmother who lost her ability to communicate and suffered dementia for 7 years before she finally died. I could have lost my mother while she was still alive too, but she has been strong and hasn't completely lost her faith in life. She has shown me her great resilience and strength, as I've seen her go through a lot in life. But I realize too caring about someone isn't about grieving for them and worrying about them and imagining how much they are suffering.... it's about celebrating them while they are here.

I have to say, I have been following this stoic journey but keeping my mouth shut is the hardest thing for me. I practice each day & fail at it

Powerful AF. I was quick to respond and react and found myself over doing it. Now I wait and actively listen instead of waiting to speak.

I can relate to being an introvert. I can also relate to having a lot of anxiety.
But not about being in the middle of a stressful situation. But my reactions to the situation.
I would like to think that I have it all figured out.
Yet in truth I have a long way to go yet.
But trying is the best thing that I can do for myself.
I wish everyone a happy healthy life ahead.
Namaste everyone!

Some days I couldn’t control myself. Some days I am able to. The key is self-awareness, achieve mindfulness and “living in the now” will be super easy. Have a blessed day y’all.
