There are a lot of Peterbilts out there that look much worse than this truck. The Freightliner Classic is a good truck if you keep it maintained.

I drove a '95 for a while, loved that truck. And, BTW, that's called a "high style" sleeper. Freightliner Classic high style, no offense but it was so much better then a Pete....

I remember when Freightliner got in trouble for producing that bunk and had to make the top bunk lines on the roof opposite to the Peterbilt.

Yes thats long nose freightliner classic XL with factory dual exhaust an breathers they made a classic xl with a " A 70 inch pete style unibuilt sleeper " , also that classic is made with a midroof kinda flat top sleeper, an 70inch double bunk condo an with a 84inch owner operator sleeper... I like the 84 inc XL.. also kw900 makes 70 inch an a 84 inch studio sleeper on the late 90's tractors.

When we were moving trucks around the country t last year we drove thousands of different trucks, every type . My favorite for my pride when I pulled into a truck stop was the 389s with straight pipes fully dressed .
My favorite for comfort was the FREIGHTLINER Coronado

Lol, I met that driver at the Blue Beacon in Las Vegas. He pulled up behind me. We talked about that Pete sleeper on that Freightshaker.

That same kind of truck swiped my trailer while i was in line for fuel. Since then I feel super proud to be freightliner driver.

I love a good old maintained Freightliner. I'm a Pete guy 100%, but it's nice and far too rare IMO, seeing other older trucks (besides Pete's and Ken's) that drivers take pride in and maintain. Especially Cabovers. Don't see anywhere NEAR as many out there as I used to. I miss em.
