Recently my design studio made a switch from xd to Figma for the following reason -
1. Easy collaboration with my team
2. No more export to jpeg/png and managing drive/dropbox for sharing files
3. Client can add the content by themselves. Also again no more update email, clients can directly check the same URL and see the design progress
4. Easy hands-off to development (saves a lot of time in exporting icons)
5. Unlimited storage, so no more worry about extra third party cloud software for storage.

So overall we save cost on
1. Dropbox
2. Zeplin
3. Marvel App (PROTOTYPE)

My 5 reasons why I think Xd wins
1 - You can design and prototype faster with Xd (time is $)
2 - You can also update shared styles and resize mockups to other screens dimensions faster and correctly (time is $)
2 - Handoff - design/prototypes are never 100% true to real life, it's more a reference. In my book it's a waste of time to try to make it "perfect". (time is $)
3 - Anyone can add comments in XD as a guests. As of Jan 2020 collaboration or sharing is almost 100% identical to all 3 (its a non issue)
4 - Exporting icons takes seconds. SECONDS. WHY IS THIS EVEN AN ISSUE PEOPLE TALK ABOUT? Although I'm of the mindset that the designer are responsible for giving the devs what tay need before they even ask in an organized folder structure.
5 - With all the time (time is $) you save with XD, the least thing you need to worry about is affording some online storage space for organizing flies you need (anyway) for apps/sites you're building. A dev shouldn't be digging for icons in a design.

Adobe XD is the best UX design tool for me. I can switch from XD to Photoshop to edit my images seamlessly. I can create my icons on Illustrator and just copy/paste them on XD to do adjustments. Using Adobe Cloud is much easier to organize your XD files and folders. I can export jpeg or png files for iOS, Android, and web for development. I am not sure if Sketch or Figma can do the same though.
