Actually there is a very big difference in performance between the 2022 15 and 17 inch models, the 15 inch model gpu runs at 100 watts whilst the 17 inch model goes all the way up to 150 watts with extra 15 watts on boost thus it’s max limit is 165 watts. Also the 17 inch has an extra fan near the battery enabling better thermals (also I assume to reduce the likelihood of battery overheating and breaking which is a reoccurring issue that razer blade users have reported over the years). Also the 17 inch model has more space and material to manage the heat in a more balanced way. Likewise, there is additional space for ventilation between the keyboard and the screen for hot air output on the 17 inch which is not present on the 15 inch for even better cooling. Also if you look at performance benchmarks (between 15 and 17 2022 models) you will see that the 17 inch outscores the 15 by a significant margin for both CPU and GPU intensive tasks. The 15 inch model seems to be more about portability as you have stated in the video, however at the cost of significant performance, whilst the 2022 17 inch version is not too far behind thicker laptops like GE76 in terms of performance (due to improved cooling and full wattage graphics card) and is really more of a desktop replacement, although it’s noticeably thinner than the mentioned GE76. I would argue this year the 17 inch razer blade is one of the best gaming laptops on par with legion 5/7 and the MSI GE series of laptops due to finally catching up to competition in performance whilst improving their cooling system and keeping the laptop thinner than the competition albeit being absurdly expensive, especially in Europe. The 15 inch on the other hand seems a little less attractive in my opinion as it just sacrifices too much performance for the portability factor making it a lot less competitive to what is currently available on the market for the 14-16 inch sizes. I assume the new blade 14 will have same performance as the new blade 15 and something like legion 7 is comparable to blade 15 in size and footprint yet unlike the blade 15 has a full 165 watt rtx 3080, so it’s definitely a tougher situation for the 15 inch blade unless you are only buying it for build quality and thin design, otherwise you may want to also consider alternatives. I should also mention from my own experience that both blade 15 and 17 seem to be hot to touch after about an hour of gaming. It’s tolerable but unfortunately notable and is something that nobody seems to point out to an extent that they should be. I even know a person who returned the blade because of how hot the chassis could gets. For example when I gamed on the legion 7, it definitely got warm (especially near wasd keys) but the actual chassis where my palm was resting never got warm so it’s definitely a razer issue and not all gaming laptop issue

0:45 - I feel I have to point out that, in comparison to the Blade 15, there is actually an extra Thunderbolt 4 port, an actual Ethernet port, a fan for the battery, arguably more speaker sound quality and possibly better thermals due to a SLIGHTLY bigger chassis for that tiny bit more air flow, ergo warranting the usefulness of the 17.3" model over the 15.6".
Other than that though, if you're just talking about performance then you're right; identical in lieu of the screen size.

Your statement that nothing is different between the 15 and 17 is incorrect. There is a significant performance difference between the two for two reasons. The 17 is significantly more powerful. Because of 1. More efficient cooling due to more robust cooling system plus larger volume and 2. A higher TGP

sure the most expensive laptop on the market...but by far not the most powerful one. Especially the highest specced up 4000$ version is significantly bottlenecked by thermals in this small chassis design.
